Brian Cairns is the Principal and Creative Director of Brian Cairns Studio.
Based in Glasgow's Merchant City, Brian Cairns Studio is a is a multi-disciplinary studio
producing award winning work for an international clients list.

I studied graphic design at The Glasgow School of Art prior to specialising in illustration
and a love of all things typographic continues to be evident in my work from hand drawn text
to traditional print media such as letterpress and silkscreen.

I also lecture part-time at The GSA in Communication Design where I am able to explore an interest
in designing for mobile devices, the web, moving image and screen based interaction design.

Over the last twenty years I have worked on projects for a diverse range of clients. From international
campaigns for global brands to smaller, custom projects that require a more bespoke hand made solution.
I enjoy tackling projects from both a conceptual and visual approach. My work is typically recognised as
being intelligent with a playful wit and sophisticated aesthetic.
